Our Beginner hoop is a great choice if you are just starting out. Whether you want to hoop for fitness or fun, you will get both with this hoop. It is the perfect size and weight to challenge your core. It is also invaluable if you are learning other on-body moves such as shoulder, chest and leg hooping and we continue to use these hoops for performing and teaching!

The approximate weight of the Beginner hoop is between 450g – 500g

Choose either a single or a double spiral of grip tape. A single spiral is sufficient to help the hoop from slipping downwards, but an additional spiral gives extra grip and a more colourful Beginner Hoop

    Tape options:

    - Neon Pink
    - Neon Blue
    - Combined (Pink 19mm + Blue 12mm)

They come with a fixed riveted connector.

New Hooper Info – The bigger the hoop, the easier it is to get going. The best hula hoop for you is the hoop that you connect with - this is determined by size, weight & practice.

It’s important to get your hula hoop size and weight right for a successful hooping experience!

As a general rule of thumb, beginners will want a hoop with a diameter measuring at least from the floor to the belly button, but more importantly need a good amount of space around the waist. We have found that a 36" (approx. 95cm) diameter hoop weighing approximately 500g is spot on and standard for most people. Hoops are made for different shaped bodies.

However, if you want to go bigger because you are a bigger size, check out our all-new YES! Hoop. All of our hoops are hand made to order so if you want a size not listed, please feel free to contact us.

    HOOPING IS FOR EVERY (BODY!).

    STORING YOUR HOOP

    - Try to store your hoop flat.
    - Keep at room temperature.
    - Or hang up on a hook! Hoops left standing end up going out of shape due to gravity.
